Can a Solar Generator Power a Mini-Mart or Freezer?

A mini-mart’s lights, POS terminal and fans may be straightforward to estimate. Refrigerators, display chillers and freezers need more care because their compressors can draw substantially more power at startup than while running.
Separate essential retail loads from cooling
List lighting, POS, phone charging, fans and security equipment first. Then add each fridge, freezer or display chiller as a separate appliance with its label rating, hours and starting-current information if available. Note which loads must operate during a grid outage.
Why an inverter rating alone is insufficient
A 2 kW inverter rating describes an output limit, not a guarantee that a given freezer will start. Compressor starting surge, soft-start behaviour, the number of cooling appliances starting together and site conditions all matter. GreenPower must verify motor loads before confirming compatibility.
Estimate energy across a full day
A cooling appliance cycles on and off, so its actual daily energy varies with ambient temperature, door opening, stock, thermostat setting and duty cycle. Without measured consumption, an audit result is preliminary. A site assessment or measured load is especially useful for frozen-food trade.

Complete the appliance audit, then share freezer or chiller nameplates and any measured starting current with GreenPower.
